There at least two meanings of the word that I can think of. The first that came to me, and perhaps the one with the most meaning anyway… is the resolution to finish something, to see it through despite all setbacks and fears.
I’m trying right now to move my blog from wordpress.com to a self-hosted domain running wordpress.org. Despite what anyone says, it can occasionally be a nail-biting experience. I’ve already had to erase all my work on the new blog, and believed for a few hours tonight that I’d erased all the posts on my old one.
I think all is well, if still a bit up in the air. And the second meaning of the word came to me only as I started writing tonight. Resolve as in the resolution of a situation.
See you on the other side. :)
And all became well, and I had not erased anything. Amazingness!!
Things are going to be in transition for a little while; I’m effectively remastering the whole blog. Organizing, properly naming, fixing white balances and making the whole thing easier to navigate.
There’s going to be a totally revamped recipe section, with easy to use buttons, and loads more entries (especially in the cookies and jams sections).
I’m also adding some galleries of my travels – choice pics that will finally have a place to shine outside my Flickr account.
More writing. Better writing. I have an experience recently of living like a Vietnamese person for a whole month, and as soon as I can do it justice, it’s getting shared.
I might even have some of my art up, available to purchase (maybe), but certainly there to enjoy.
And, I’ll be as into what you’re writing about as well, as much as ever!
Thanks for the patience. ♥
